Gently conceptual.

This has been a seriously brilliant weekend. I know I'm gonna be miserable in August when it's hot as balls out, but I'm having a great time so far this summer in New York.
MoCCA was fun yesterday. I bought some good comics, then Summer and I went to Max's in the East Village and shared an order of pasta with cream saunce and peas and prosciutto and a side of sauteed spinach and garlic and holy shit it was good. Then we met up with Kate and all the magical planets that are in her orbit and saw the M. Shanghai String Band in the basement of the restaurant that inspired their name. And then Summer and I went to a MoCCA party in a loft on Broadway and sat on the fire escape that led to the tar-heavy roof deck until the punk rock band came on, which used to be my cue to start drinking more, but sadly is now my cue to leave.
Today I met Rosie at the Bedford L and we went down to the park on the water and ate bagels and drank iced coffee and talked and talked. We also went to the William Lamson show at Pierogi and we both liked it very much. It's a very clever show, but not overly so, and it's fun to watch. It was a deeply filling morning. Drinks with Megan later, full moon viewing tonight on the roof, and then tomorrow, back to work.
I haven't been writing much, just interviewing, but I'm digging what I'm producing.
I'm taking my time over here. Enjoying myself. I hope you're enjoying yourself too.
