Down by Old Man Johnson's farm.

Yellowstone and the Badlands
Sometimes I feel like I'm cheating when I post this many pictures but holy shit have you seen Wyoming?
We're back. Ten states in five days in a big ol' pickup truck and we're back. Sensory overload is an understatement. It's just nice to know that this country is still beautiful even if it's kind of hard to tell that in New York City.
By the way - and I mention this only because I have been getting some shit for not mentioning my writing enough - I had an amazing breakthrough on the train today in terms of edits for IL. (It's all about the diamonds, just remember that.) Also while in Montana I wrote 7000 words of the new book, which we will call TKM until I feel like releasing the title. And I found out last week that one of the IL stories was accepted for print publication by Bullfight Review this fall.
Lest you think I am feeling too cocky, I had two rejections letters waiting for me today. Also it is nine million degrees here - I have no idea how y'all have been dealing with this bullshit - and I have no air conditioning.
But I am glad to be home, because here I am not one of those New York girls, I am just like everyone else. And I am totally cool with that.
Even though I am very, very hot right now. Good lord.
