Appropriate behavior.

I chucked everything and went upstate for a blissful weekend of fish tacos, chocolate chip cookies, wine, dogs, children, peace, quiet, nature walks, and dirty jokes.

Now I'm back and my apartment still needs a ton of work and I haven't finished this month's Antiheroine interview yet, nor have I completed my copyedited manuscript. But I feel I am better suited now to face this mountain of work. I'm relaxed for the first time in six weeks. I shook something off upstate.
