Last night I went to a little party over at Housing Works for cool booksellers. God, I love people who work in bookstores. It was the best thing ever. They had a stack of my galleys there and people took them home to (hopefully) read. I met a nice woman who runs a bookstore upstate called Oblong Books and also Jessica from The Written Nerd and two really smart women who work at Housing Works who saved me when I was walking around feeling a little lost at the beginning and a bunch of other awesome people. Seriously everyone I met was super nice. It was a fun time.

Then I went home and watched Project Runway which is an utter snooze this season. There better be some bitchfest payoff coming up soon, because the crazy lady who spits on the clothes and won't look at men in their underpants, while reminding me of a crazy landlord I had once in DC, is just not enough. Though of course I will still watch it. Because my brain has melted into my television set.
