The holiday season is a killer.

Unbelievably, it is just nineteen short days until the release of The Kept Man. I know I have been doing a lot of shilling on this site for it. (Yes, the contest is still going strong and you can still enter to win a free galley. Yes, you should check out the short film inspired by the book. Yes, you should visit my other site for more information about the book.) But today I am happy to shill for some other people, namely the four authors who will be reading from their debut novels at the next Class of 2008 event.
For those of you unfamiliar with the series (which I curate and host), Class of 2008 @ Boxcar Lounge provides a sneak peek at the coming year's finest debut authors. Now in its third year, Class of 2008 has featured such vibrant, celebrated authors as: Marisha Pessl, Josh Ferris, David Matthews, Taylor Antrim, Anya Ulinich, Min Jin Lee, Dinaw Mengestu, Ellis Avery, Laura Dave, Janice Erlbaum, Shari Goldhagen, David Goodwillie, Karen Russell, Hana Schank, Deborah Schoeneman, Scott Snyder, Pauls Toutonghi and more. There will be more amazing authors in the coming months, and January will be no exception.
